"Wanda" |
|
A prostitute hired by Jason Wynn shortly after he was released from prison. Wynn was being manipulated by the Violator and began to act on his insane obsession with Al Simmons by hiring prostitutes that resembled Wanda Blake and then killing them.
This "Wanda" was picked up by Wynn, who then proceeded to murder her and scrawl "Where's Wanda?" on a wall with her blood. He continued this ritual with a couple more prostitutes before moving on to 'civilians'. |

Whistler |
|
Ronny "Whistler" Entwhistle was an alcoholic homeless man who lived in the alleys within Rat City. After the loss of Bootsy, Spawn's friend Bobby attempted to make friends with Whistler, but he was rejected.
Later that night, Bobby found Whistler dead in an alley with his throat cut. Investigating his death, Sam Burke discovered that the clerk at a nearby liquor store remembered Entwhistle distinctly for always asking for his receipt. Additionally, Entwhistle had apparently pulled a "bag job" in Vegas 3 years ago and made a lot of enemies.
Eventually Sam discovered though that Entwhistle was the first victim of the Exterminator - a serial killer that prayed on the homeless. |

White, The |
|
A mysterious location that seems to be a white expanse of light. The White became the home of Max Williams after his death, and was also the home of many other lost souls who believed they had been forgotten by God. Max sometimes referred to The White as limbo, because he and the other souls there were awaiting God's judgement.
After fighting with his costume in The Black, Jim Downing found himself in The White. According to Max, Jim had been there before with Al Simmons, but of course Jim couldn't remember.
Max claimed that The White was also the home of Lilith, the first vampire. He and the other souls there feared Spawn's costume falling into the hands of Bludd, out of fear that Bludd would use it to find Lilith, destroy her and become all-powerful.
Although Max sometimes refers to The White as limbo, it does not appear to be the same location as Limbo. |

White Light |
|
Faced with the armies of both God and Satan, Al Simmons unleashed a massive force of White Light with his god-like powers that obliterated all life on Earth. All Survivors of the Four Horsemen and all their resurrected victims, every plant, every insect and every animal. Earth was left a barren wasteland with no one but God, Satan, Simmons, and Mother.
God and Satan were left on Earth to continue their eternal feud, while Simmons and Mother left to recreate mankind. Simmons used his new powers to create an alternate Earth, free from the meddling of Heaven or Hell. This new Earth, and the process of its creation, came to be called the White Light. |

Wilma Barbera |
|
Wilma Barbera lived in the New Vista apartments with her husband Fred. Wilma hated Fred, and had been cheating on him for quite some time.
One day when Fred came home early, her boyfriend Barney Saunders was forced to hide in the garbage chute. Soon after, Armageddon happened and Wilma lost track of poor Barney.
After the White Light, however, she heard a voice coming from the chute telling her to kill Fred - so she did so by filling his peanut-butter sandwich with broken glass.
As it turned out, the voice from the chute was the Violator's, who had possessed the body of Barney.
Later, when Sam, Twitch and Spawn confronted the Violator, they brought Wilma with them. She was able to 'bring Barney to the surface' long enough for Spawn to force Violator through a portal to Hell and then seal it closed. Unfortunately for Wilma, Barney pulled her with them into Hell, angry that she had abandoned him. |
