An angel and friend of Angela. When Angela was sent to trial for High Treason, her friends Kuan Yin and Anahita found Spawn and brought him to Elysium to testify on Angela's behalf. The trial did not go well, and Spawn and Angela were forced to make a hasty retreat. When it appeared as though they had been destroyed, Anahita and Kuan Yin mourned the passing of their friend.

Later, when Angela reappeared alive, Anahita and Kuan Yin helped her obtain a recording of Gabrielle admitting to perjury thereby clearing Angela of the charges against her. When they had finished with the ordeal, the three angels decided to go freelance together.

Andy and his brother Eddie were two young boys living with their abusive father after their mother died. Their Father, Joe Frank, brutally beat them both often, especially when drunk. When little Andy met Spawn, however, everything changed.

Andy found Spawn sick on a sidewalk after he had returned from Hell with Angela. Unafraid, Andy took him home and showed him to his brother Eddie, but hid him from their father. The brothers nursed Spawn back to health, but a series of events led to Eddie killing their father and the two boys being sent to juvenile detention in Florence, Alabama.

Years later, the two escaped detention and traveled for two weeks to get to New York and find Spawn. In the big city, Eddie fell in with a dealer named Snake and began working for him, but he shielded young Andy from what he was doing. When they finally found Spawn's alley, they were led in by Cog. Spawn's heartless disinterest in them angered Eddie and just confused poor Andy.

Later, when Snake found out that they knew Spawn, he tricked Eddie into luring them to him. A battle ensued, and Andy was shot. Eddie retaliated against Snake and inadvertently killed him, his second murder. Afterwards, Andy was admitted and cleared at the hospital (only a flesh wound) and they made amends with Spawn. They then returned voluntarily to their Juvenile center in Alabama.

A friendly waitress at Max's Diner that served Al and Terry. Al noted to Angela that he knew another woman named Angela once - to which the waitress guessed “with a name like that, she must have been awesome.” Al simply replied, “not always.”

Later, Al witnessed Angela about to be mugged and stepped in to save her while wearing his full Spawn appearance. Though he rescued her from her attacker, she was terrified of Spawn.

As a nurse in World War II, Anna met a brilliant medic training to be a physician named Frederick Willheim. They began to date and after a year were married.

As war ended, Anna suffered two miscarriages due to complications from an unknown neurological disease. Frederick devoted his life to finding a cure and to saving her life. Together they moved to the United States when Frederick's research was awarded funding from the government. No one knew that Frederick had become obsessed and was keeping Anna's brain alive in a jar while her body decomposed.
