Medieval Spawn |
|
Alias: Sir John of York
A man who lived and died 800 years ago who 'died a bad man' by his own admission. After death, he was reborn as a hellspawn and became protector of a village while refusing to be a part of Hell's plan.
He was goaded into battle with the Violator when the demon kidnapped his Maiden. In battle, Medieval Spawn was victorious, but afterwards he was rejected by his Maiden who was horrified at the revelation of his true appearance.
Some time after, Medieval Spawn was tricked and killed by the angel Angela.
Centuries later, Medieval Spawn was seemingly resurrected by the Vatican. He was held captive, and forced to "prove himself worthy" to the church.
He attacked Al Simmons, and was relatively quickly "killed", although his exact fate is unknown. His body disappeared, but his armor remained.
A short while later, he miraculously re-appeared on Omega Island, and joined Spawn in an attack against Omega Spawn. This time, Medieval seemed to be acting of his own accord (as opposed to The Vatican's) and he tried to reassure Spawn that this time, he would not attack him. The two barely won vs Omega, and that was only due to the appearance of the Plague Spawn.
After the fight, Medieval accompanied
Spawn back to his lair, but would often disappear and reappear seemingly out of nowhere. It soon became known that Medieval Spawn was somehow posessing Marc Rosen through the armor. |
